925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper or zinc. Sterling silver pieces are stamped with 925 to mark their authenticity. As one theory goes, King Henry II dubbed the durable coins made of silver alloy in circulation “Easterling coins,” which evolved into “sterling” silver. Today, the pound sterling remains the U.K.’s standard unit of currency.

Freshwater Pearls
Pearls which form in freshwater environments. Freshwater makes up around 3% of all the world's water, and is essentially water that isn't salty - think lakes, rivers, glaciers and more. Pearls that form in mollusks in these environments are called freshwater pearls.

Cubic Zirconia
Classified as a diamond simulant - a stone that looks similar to natural diamonds, but is made of different material. Natural and lab-grown diamonds are made of carbon, while cubic zirconia is made of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). The cubic part of the name comes from the fact that the stone has a cubic crystalline form. Diamonds also have a cubic crystalline form, so cubic zirconia is a great diamond lookalike.
